I am an experienced hotel manager with over 30 years of expertise in the tourism sector, focusing on new investments, development, and improvement projects. Throughout my career, I have successfully contributed to the growth and transformation of various establishments, achieving measurable success in guest satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence.
I was born in 1974 in Rize. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotel Management at Akdeniz University. My journey in the tourism sector began in 1992 during the first summer term of my studies, where I started as an intern. Over the years, I specialized in the Food and Beverage department, eventually progressing to management roles in this area.
One of the significant milestones in my career was my tenure at Renaissance Antalya Resort, where I worked for 11 years and left as the Food & Beverage Manager. Subsequently, I held the same managerial position at The Marmara Antalya and Gloria Serenity Resort. My first senior management role was as the Assistant General Manager at Gloria Verde Resort, followed by my promotion to General Manager at the same facility.
Since 2011, I have served as General Manager in several prominent hotels and resorts across Antalya, Bodrum, and Kuşadası. Most recently, I held the position of General Manager at Belek Beach Resort, a 663-room property in Boğazkent, Belek, between 2022 and 2024. During this period, I played a key role in overseeing the renovation and development projects of the facility.
My professional experience includes leading renovation projects, managing the construction of new facilities from scratch, and developing innovative designs and concepts. I have also conducted extensive work in quality certification processes, Turquality system implementation, corporate communication, and marketing strategies. My comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and sales-marketing strategies has consistently resulted in notable improvements in guest satisfaction, average room rates, and profitability, supported by verifiable data.
Academically, I earned my master’s degree in Tourism Management from Akdeniz University and am currently pursuing a PhD in the same field at the same institution. I strive to integrate academic research into my professional development and closely follow global trends and innovations in the tourism industry.
I am proficient in English at a professional level and have intermediate proficiency in German. Additionally, I am highly skilled in using computer programs and have a strong aptitude for adapting to new technologies.
